Vape juice has four ingredients: vegetable glycerin (VG), propylene glycol (PG), flavoring, and (optionally) nicotine. Most vape juice on the market today comes in around 70% VG. When you see one that is Max VG, that means it is very little (but not none) PG in the juice. The reason PG is almost always present is that it is usually what flavoring and nicotine are delivered within.
Whereas it's rare to find someone with a VG allergy, there are some people who are sensitive to PG. If you feel your throat swell so that your airway is tighter or if you start seeing hives on your skin, you may have a PG allergy. Try using a Max VG juice and see if that helps.
Keep in mind that VG is very thick compared to PG. It's almost syrupy whereas PG is watery. That means you need to be careful when using Max VG or High VG vape juice because its thickness will make it not as efficient in feeding if you are using a vape tank. Many of the newer vape tanks, like the TFV12 Prince from SMOK, have no problem with thick juice, but older ones might. You'll know if your tank isn't working with Max VG vape juice if your coils keep going dry.
If you're dripping on a rebuildable atomizer, I highly recommend you try Max VG e-liquid. The thickness seems to condense the flavor and provide better vapor production. The Milkman and Creme de la Creme vape juice brands are the most popular ones we sell that are Max VG, but there are many. You can see the entire list here.
It's best to try different VG/PG ratios until you find the ideal one for your palette and setup. We carry everything from 50/50 to Max VG, so shop around and find one that works best for you.

No.
The better question would be, "Can you kill yourself with vape juice?" Well, sure. You can kill yourself with a soup spoon, too. If you do not use things the way they are intended to be used, yes, you can injure or kill yourself. This also applies to vape juice. If you drink an entire 100ml bottle of high-nicotine vape juice and are able to keep it down, you'll definitely become sick and you may die. Why would anyone do that?
