Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some questions we get repeatedly. We hope this helps get you vaping quicker and safer.

  1. I have the tracking information, but why hasn't my item been delivered yet? We pack, label, and hand over the packages to the USPS daily during the week. Once it leaves our hands, we have no control. When there are holidays or bad weather, you should expect delays. Just keep checking the tracking.
  2. My tank is leaking. What could it be? Most of the time this is caused by an atomizer that isn't screwed all the way in, or a washer/o-ring that isn't seated properly in the device.
  3. The device says it takes 18350 batteries, but it doesn't seem to fit properly. Some devices are 18350 capable, but they require two stacked to fit. Always stack positive up.
  4. How do I know where you got the device and if it is an "authentic" clone? We buy direct from the manufacturers in China, not through middlemen or wholesalers. We tell you in the description who made the device.
  5. How do I get more vapor? That's a combination of so many things, including your battery, atomizer coil, airflow, and e-juice. Use a high-drain battery that is fully charged. Try lower ohm builds in your atomizer. Use devices like the Helios with adjustable airflow. Use e-juice that is primarily VG-based.
  6. I put a battery in my mod but it won't fire. Well, if you're sure the battery is charged, chances are the problem is with the contact pins inside the mod at the top and at the switch. On most mods you can adjust those pins by screwing or unscrewing them so they make contact. This will also reduce battery rattle.
  7. I believe my item is broken. Best to contact us and speak to us on the phone about it. We'll need a picture or some evidence to start the return and refund or exchange process.
  8. Are the Protanks that come in kits genuine Kanger Protanks? Unless it specifies so in the description, probably not. Keep in mind that "protank" is a type, not a brand. Many different manufacturers make them, and quite often the atomizers are compatible. Note that Kanger's Protank 3 takes different, shorter atomizers.
  9. Where do you get your custom builds for atomizers? We make them, right here, just as specified.
  10. Can I have you set my custom build to a certain ohm resistance? Usually. We won't go dangerously low, however. Best to contact us to discuss before ordering.
  11. Why do I have to pay sales tax? If the shipping address is in CA, we are forced to collect sales tax.
  12. Can I get a discount if I buy more than one product? Unless you're buying large quantities (wholesale orders), no, because our margins are very thin as they are. However, if you order items together, we usually can ship them together.
  13. I can't figure out how to properly set up or use my device. The easiest thing to do is look for YouTube videos, and start watching. There are some great ones from Phil Busardo, Grimm Green, and, our favorite, Rip Trippers.
  14. I paid for overnight shipping. Why haven't I received my order yet? Overnight shipping is just that, not overnight delivery. Depending on what time you place the order, and where the shipment is going, it could take 2 business days to arrive.
  15. Do you guys have a storefront? No, sorry. Maybe someday.
  16. What version of the Magneto mod are you selling? The ones we have from SMOK are their latest version. They DO NOT have the spider logo on the fire button due to Marvel making them cease. The Diamond Magneto is made by Cigreen, and the ones we have left DO have the spider logo.
  17. Which magnets do I need for my mod to replace the springs in the fire button? We have various ones sized to specific mods. Basically, the thicker ones are stronger, and the strength you need depends on how you like your button. We like the stronger ones on the heavier mods and atomizers so they can be set upright and won't fire.
  18. I'm not happy with my device. Can I return it? Sure, within 30 days, unless you have modified it. If you bought it on eBay, please use their return procedure. If you bought from us, please contact us for return authorization.
  19. Can you guys make the air hole(s) bigger on the atomizer I bought? Yes, we can drill it out for you. We don't charge for that service. Just make sure you let us know what size you want before we ship it. You can add an eBay message to the order or call us.
  20. Why is your item priced so high all of a sudden on eBay? Selling on eBay is a little tricky. Basically, when we have item watchers, we want to keep those so they stay informed of our products and prices. When we get down to the last item, we usually raise the price, so if it sells, it covers the cost of us losing all the watchers and needing to relist the item when it comes back in.
  21. Is the item in the picture exactly the color I will receive? The pictures shown are pictures we took of the devices using a digital camera and a light box, which has florescent lighting. That means it will look the same in bright florescent lighting, but it might be slightly darker in sunlight or incandescent light.
  22. I'm worried about the negative feedback I see. What gives? We go out of our way to make people happy. Some people (often competitors) can't be pleased no matter what we offer. We get a discount on eBay fees for top-rated feedback. That's why competitors try to harm our reputation. We don't manufacture the devices, and it wouldn't be practical for us to test every one before we sell them. We do offer 30-day returns. Yet, we can't please everyone, but anything over 99% is pretty good.
  23. Why don't you guys check every product to make sure they work before sending them? It simply isn't practical, because we typically have hundreds of orders a day. There's no way we'd have enough time to get them out quickly. Also, many buyers would be upset if their item was "used" when they receive it. Damages will happen. That's why we offer a 30-day return policy.
  24. When I wash my device, it seems some of the color comes off. Be careful when you clean your device, especially painted glass tanks. Any abrasive will harm the finish. Just use warm water and a soft cloth.
  25. Can I stack batteries in my mod? You can, but to ensure proper operation and safety they should be the same style/brand battery and have a similar charge level.
  26. I ordered the Eleaf Ohm Meter, and I can't find the female connector. Open the battery compartment. It comes shipped inside there. Remove it before installing batteries.
  27. Why do I need to return my broken item? Can't you just send me another? In order for us to receive credit from the manufacturer, we need to send your broken item to them.
  28. My credit card keeps getting declined, but I know I have adequate credit available. Your billing and shipping address must match. We do this to avoid fraud. If you want to buy something as a gift, you'll need to have it delivered to you then resend it. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we want only the highest security for our clients.
  29. I'm confused about the rewards program. Do the rewards work on the supplies and the e-liquid shop? Yes, but they work independently. You accumulate points in each store and you must redeem those points within the store that you earned them. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we need to keep the two separate due to legislation we expect to be enacted soon.
  30. Do you guys ship on weekends? No. Sorry, we have lives too.
  31. Where will my item ship from? It depends. We have warehouses throughout the US.
  32. Do you sell CBD-based e-Liquids? Yes, but they are on another site: MaxVapingCBD.com due to regulatory and payment processing restrictions.
  33. Why did I get a verification phone call? California residents will be called after 5pm weekdays to confirm orders based on state laws. No action is required on your part.

  35. Where did the rewards program go? The cost of the software was prohibitive so we cancelled the program. If you have accumulated rewards, we will honor them. Contact us at support@maxvaping.com and we'll issue you a coupon. The rewards program is active on our e-Liquid site, MaxeJuice.com.
